El narrador del libro, que esta escribiendo un diario que al mismo tiempo es un cuaderno de notas a pie de pagina que comentan un texto invisible, demuestra su amplia solvencia como rastreador de bartlebys al pasear por el Laberinto del No, por los caminos de la que considera la mas perturbadora y atractiva tendencia de las literaturas contemporaneas, tendencia en la que ve el unico camino que queda abierto a la autentica creacion literaria, pues para el solo de la pulsion negativa, del rechazo, solo del Laberinto lucido del No puede surgir la escritura por venir.
