Miles wonders what his parents will think if they find out that he takes steroids. He lives in Minneapolis and visits schools around the world. They try to get him to start but he refuses and tells them he will be fine in foy without the need to take drugs. Then it starts telling about all the pressures his dad is putting on him with football. I really enjoyed reading this book because it felt like I was Miles in some jhn and we were both going through some of the same things together.

I would recommend this book to anyone that is in high school or has been in high school because you will cog someway to relate the Miles and his story. Miles has more Crackback by John Coy To most people football is just a game, but for Miles Manning it is much more than that.
The next day, Miles’ family sits down for dinner, when his father has an outburst and sends Martha and Miles out of the room to argue with Miles’ mother. The semi finals are coming up, what will Miles do? Miles has more expectations than ever from his family, friends, teammates, and the entire town. It is very tempting not to do any of that. The new coach just wants wins and he feels that he needs to get stronger and faster, but how far will he go to do that.
That is a big deal, but the team knows that it is no guarantee. Crackbavk coach gets cancer and the ignorant assistant coach takes over and cuts Miles.
How far will he go to win.
While I thoroughly enjoyed the book and the main character, Miles, the book left me with some questions at the end. Miles has to make decisions that will reshape his entire life. Everyone was pressuring him about the team and how to keep them in check.
My opinion on the book is it was very well written. His dad says, “don’t let anybody get to you, just keep trying to improve because no one is perfect at anything” Coy I would definitely recommend this book to anyone teenager or football fan who cdackback to read about the life of football players, and the pressure that they have on them. Would Miles’ nose be okay?

When I was reading this I felt like throwing it against the wall. Miles is reluctant to try. Most of the recent quality sports fiction has focused on basketball or wrestling, which makes this extra welcome.

For my final literary device I chose point of view, this device decides how the layout of this text and how the whole plot comes together. He has pressure on his shoulders from his coaches and especially his dad. Miles knows his dad is right and that is what inspires him to get better and to try to get his starting position back.

There are a lot of conflicts in this story which brings me to my next literary device, conflict. His best friend pressures miles to taking steroids to help with the case.
That is why I rated the book 5 stars because I loved the book. It had absolutely no sentence fluency whatsoever. This moment gave him the mindset to not go to homecoming, which is a common thing guys would do, in my opinion. Find out by reading this great book! After the head coach decides to call it quits the team added this new head coach hat is very hard on Miles.
So bad, he’s out for the season. When reading the book you feel as if you are there going through the same experiences as the characters in the book because of the descriptive style. I loved this book. It has a good storyline, with lots of relatable problems, and great spacing out of action and lots of problems that get resolved at the end.
The story starts off with Miles having a very successful year in football.
