But when the brothers all seem to have wild tempers that flare hot and cold, I grew annoyed. We then meet the brothers, and I really wanted to punch all of them. Young Adult Book Club December While I was always suspicious of Hunter, he was briid a gentlemen I found it hard to keep being so guarded with him. Becca was an interesting character, she was vulnerable and yet at the same time she had a inner strength that really came out as the book went on. The nasty girls in this novel can be spotted by their revealing clothing “boobs were going to explode from the neckline of her shirt in a minute” and their tendency to hang drooling all over the Merrick brothers.
I hope that we will get more information about her accident in the next book.
Sure, I was a little confused in certain parts, but I loved the guessing and I was shocked when I finally figured it all out. Weathering this Storm proved to be very rewarding. In this book though I couldn’t really decided between Hunter and Chris. As one of my friends said, you’d think Brigid Kemmerer grew up in a house full of boys with how well she wrote them!
It didn’t help that she had questionable actions in many instances in the story which I found unnecessary. The storm is coming. Keep an eye for this series because I bet that many of you will like it as well! Along with these four brothers, we’ve got Hunter – the New Guy – which was my personal favorite of the boys, then Becca’s friends, classmates and parents. Kim Baccellia, Staff Reviewer.
